（一）长聘教职体系
1、特聘教授：在教学、科研、服务国家战略方面取得重要代表性成果及显著成效。胜任本科核心课程讲授任务，在科学研究方面取得国内外同行公认的重要成绩，具有带领本学科赶超或引领国际先进水平的能力。年龄不超过50周岁，人文社科类学科可适当放宽至54周岁，取得突出学术贡献者可适当放宽年龄要求。
2、长聘教授：活跃在教学科研第一线，取得国际同行认可的突出学术成绩，具有很高的国际知名度和影响力，在教学和人才培养方面表现优秀并取得重要成果，在学科建设中发挥重要作用，达到世界一流大学（学科）终身教授的水平。应具有博士学位，年龄原则上不超过45周岁，人文社科类学科原则上不超过50周岁，特别优秀者年龄可适当放宽。
3、预聘副教授：具备良好的教学能力，在研究方面已取得具有原创性和重要性的研究成果，在领域内有一定的知名度和影响力，具有良好的发展潜力。应具有博士学位，年龄原则上不超过40周岁，人文社科类学科可适当放宽至45周岁。
4、预聘助理教授：具有良好的学术能力，较强的创新活力和学术发展潜力。应具有博士学位，原则上要有博士后经历或相应的科研工作经历，年龄原则上不超过35周岁。
（二）青年百人计划
1、青年百人计划A岗：在所从事研究的学科领域中取得高水平科研成果，有突出的学术创新能力和发展潜力，学术成果达到国家级高层次青年人才同等水平。具有博士学位，年龄不超过40周岁，人文社科类学科可适当放宽至45周岁。
2、青年百人计划B岗：在所从事研究的学科领域取得高水平科研成果，有较强的学术创新能力和冲击国家级高层次青年人才计划的水平，具备团队合作精神。具有博士学位，年龄不超过35周岁，人文社科类学科可适当放宽至40周岁。
（三）博士后项目
年龄不超过35周岁，取得博士学位不超过3年，达到学科所在博士后流动站的进站考核要求。

(1) Recruitment of Long Term Faculty Member
1. Distinguished Professor:
Demonstrating significant and representative achievements in teaching, scientific research, and contributing to national strategic initiatives. Capable of delivering core undergraduate courses and achieving both domestically and internationally recognized accomplishments in scientific research. Possesses the ability to lead the discipline to surpass or lead the international advanced level. The age limit is 50 years, with a slight flexibility to 54 years for the humanities and social sciences. Exceptional individuals with outstanding academic contributions may have age requirements relaxed accordingly.
2. Endowed Professor:
Actively engaged in the forefront of teaching and research, with outstanding academic achievements recognized by international peers, and possesses high international visibility and influence. Excel in teaching, talent development, and achieving significant outcomes. Plays a crucial role in disciplinary construction, reaching the level of a lifelong professor at a world-class university (discipline). A Ph.D. is required, and the age limit generally does not exceed 45 years, with a principle limit of 50 years for the humanities and social sciences. Exceptional candidates may have their age requirements flexibly adjusted.
3. Associate Professor (Probationary):
Possesses excellent teaching skills and has achieved original and significant research results. Holds a certain level of recognition and influence within the field, demonstrating promising development potential. A Ph.D. is required, and the age limit generally does not exceed 40 years old, with a principle limit of 45 years for the humanities and social sciences.
4. Assistant Professor (Probationary):
Demonstrates strong academic competence, innovative vitality, and potential for academic development. A Ph.D. is required, ideally with postdoctoral experience or relevant research work experience. The age limit generally does not exceed 35 years.
(2) Youth Centurion Program
1. Young Centurion Program - Position A:
Achieving high-level research results in the field of specialization, demonstrating outstanding academic innovation and development potential. Academic achievements should reach the level equivalent of national high-level young talents. A Ph.D. is required, and the age limit does not exceed 40 years, with a flexibility of 45 years for the humanities and social sciences.
2. Young Centurion Program - Position B:
Attaining high-level research results in the field of specialization, demonstrating strong academic innovation, and reaching a level that competes with national high-level young talent programs. Possesses a collaborative spirit for teamwork. A Ph.D. is required, and the age limit does not exceed 35 years, with a flexibility of 40 years for the humanities and social sciences.
(3) Postdoctoral Program
Age not exceeding 35 years, obtained a doctoral degree within the last 3 years, and meeting the entry assessment requirements of the postdoctoral mobile station in the respective discipline.

Tongji University, with a long and illustrious history, is a world-class university directly administered by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and jointly constructed with the Shanghai municipal government. With 116 years of development, Tongji University has evolved into a distinctive, influential, comprehensive, research-oriented, and international institution. Its comprehensive strength ranks among the top universities in China and has a significant impact both domestically and internationally.
At present, Tongji University comprises of 29 professional colleges, 11 affiliated hospitals, and 10 affiliated primary and secondary schools. It has four main campuses at Siping, Jiading, Huxi, and Hubei, as well as research bases in Lingang and Zhangjiang. The university covers an area of approximately 2.56 square kilometers, with a total building area exceeding 1.87 million square meters. The library holds a collection of over 4.57 million volumes.
The university's academic disciplines cover 11 categories, including engineering, science, medicine, management, economics, philosophy, literature, law, education, the arts, and interdisciplinary studies. Currently, there are 73 undergraduate majors, 46 first-level master's degree authorization points, 28 professional master's degree authorization points, 37 first-level doctoral degree authorization points, 10 professional doctoral degree authorization points, and 30 postdoctoral mobile stations. Tongji University has established several major scientific research platforms, including the world's largest 'Multi-functional Shaking Table Center,' the first 'Automotive Wind Tunnel Center,' the first 'Comprehensive Test Platform for Urban Rail Transit,' the first 'National Long-term Seabed Observatory System,' the first benchmark 'National Key Laboratory of Autonomous Intelligent Unmanned Systems,' and the Ministry of Education's 'Center for Frontier Science of Cell Stem and Fate Editing.'
